While focusing on member needs, cooperatives work for the sustainable development of the areas they serve. DSEC sponsors and participates in a variety of local activities as part of its guiding Concern for Community principle. DSEC has been a part of the areas it serves for over 80 years and continues to maintain an active role in community events. As a local member-owned electric co-op, we were founded on the concept of providing dependable, cost-efficient power to residential, commercial and agricultural members.
